New York’s Catskill Mountain region is gorgeous, wild, and a great place to hike. My best friend Chris Hiker guided me on a river walk in Platte Clove, NY. It was an amazing trip. We walked along a river that flowed over slabs of shale. We followed the river upstream, passing a number of natural pools set below waterfalls. We encountered newts and frogs and centipedes. We left with some great photos.
